EVENT:    RMS 7th and 8th Spring Trip
DATES:    April 30th, May 1st
Place:      Atlanta, GA

Here is the information that you will need to make your plans for the trip to Atlanta.  Many hours have gone into the planning of this trip, but some of the scheduled events may have to be modified as the trip progresses due to weather or other circumstances. We place a lot of emphasis on safety during the trip and constantly remind the students that they are representing Robertsville Middle School, and Oak Ridge, Tennessee. We hope to represent our community in a way that brings credit to all.

Adult Supervision---Students will have six adults to take care of them. Chaperones will be treated with all due respect and students will follow their directions without question. Our chaperones for this trip are: Mrs. Jones, Mr.Yost, and Mr. and Mrs. Kile. Mrs. Jones is a registered nurse and Mrs. Kile is a family nurse practitioner.

Safety---This is always the area of greatest concern. Our experience has been that rowdy behavior is always responsible for causing the few injuries that we have had on past trips.  There will be no running, pushing, shoving, or other types of rowdy behavior. Students will be confined to their room or an assigned seat on the bus if they are observed in this type of behavior. Medical release forms will be used to admit students for emergency treatment at a hospital if the need should arise. Please fill out a new form from our website if your medical/insurance information has changed since this past fall.

At The Park---There are over 100 rides and attractions to see. Stay with your group at all times. Be prepared to get wet if you choose a water ride. In the gift shops do not pick up any item until you are ready to buy it. Never walk around with merchandise in your hand, they will think that you are shoplifting.
