Dear Parents,
The students and directors of the Robertsville Middle School Bands would like to invite you to attend our Parent Concert on Monday March 5, 2012. Due to concerns about time, we have moved this concert from the original date so that we can begin at 7:00 p.m. We have also moved the May concert to Monday May 21st at 7:00 PM. The 7th/8th concerts will remain on the following evenings.
Admission for this concert is free. In recognition of the parent’s help and support, we are extending free admission to all. Thank you for all that you do to support band at Robertsville. We appreciate you.
Students should wear nice, neat attire as you would wear to any semi-formal occasion. Girls may wear dresses or slacks. Boys may wear coat and tie or sweaters, or dress shirts, and dress pants. Please dress up a little. 5th grade students should report to the band room at 6:45 p.m. 6th Grade students should report to the stage at 6:45 p.m.
Students are reminded that performance in our concerts and participation in after school rehearsals are an obligation of the band class and will count heavily toward your nine weeks report. Each one of our members adds to the total sound that is the Band. If you are not with us, we are not complete. As always, if there is a conflict, please notify us in writing by at least two weeks in advance of the event.
We look forward to seeing all of our band families in the audience on March 5th, to share this evening of music.
