camp will be from July 26th to August 6th this summer (see schedule
below). The cost will be $275 per student. Please

Week 1, Monday, July 26 - Friday, July
30
8:30 to 5:00: Rehearsal at ORHS
Bandroom.
Lunch from 11:30 - 1:00.
Please bring your instrument, hat, sunscreen,
tennis shoes and socks. Wind players will need a Lyre for your
music. A local music store will have lyres as well as reeds, oil,
etc. available for purchase on the first day of camp.
Week 2, Sunday, Aug 1 - Friday, Aug 6
We will leave from the ORHS Bandroom for
Tennessee Tech on Sunday, Aug. 1st at 1:00. We will return on
Friday, Aug. 6th, and will perform a 'Preview Show' for parents
and friends of the band on Blankenship field at 5:00.
What to Bring:
Students will need to pack clothes for 5 days, bed linens or sleeping bag,
personal toiletries, and their instrument, hat, sunscreen, etc. Extra tennis
shoes and socks are recommended in the event of rain. All meals are furnished;
however, students may wish to bring spending money for snacks, pizza, and
other essentials.
