• Congratulations to the ORHS Concert and Symphonic Bands on earning 'Straight 1's" at the ETSBOA Concert Festival. The Concert Band performed 'Brighton Beach' and 'Spirit of Independence' in Grade 5, while the Symphonic Band played 'Persis' and 'Down From the Shimmering Sky' in Grade 6.
• Congratulations to Emily Backus (1st Chair Percussion) and Josh Maberry (2nd Chair Tuba) for earning a spot in the 2010 Tennessee All State Band.
